Recent Gig Re-Cap and Rosy's in October

Hey there,

I had a great time performing at a couple of recent gigs.  I did my annual appearance at the Southern New York Racing Association Reunion on September 21st.  There was a really good turnout for the event and of course I played all of my Danbury songs including Danbury Fair, Drivin' At The Racearena and Danbury Westerners Theme. I also sold quite a few copies of my Danbury Days CD at the event too which was great!  You can see a LIVE performance of Drivin' At The Racearena on my YouTube Channel.

This past weekend, I performed at a new venue for me - the Atlantic Restaurant in Danbury, CT.  It was a fun night.  I was able to catch up with some old friends I hadn't seen in a long time, including former Danbury Mayor Gene Eriquez.  People had a great time and were singing and dancing along to the tunes.  Thanks goes out to Rori for coming out to join in the fun too!  I hope to be back there again in the coming months.  Stay tuned!

I'm getting the "itch" to start writing and recording again.  This happens every year with the change of seasons.  Now that the summer is over, it's time to move indoors and work on some creative new material.  I've already begun work on writing a new song and plan to do some new recordings of a couple of old songs that I think are worthy of re-surfacing.  Fun stuff!

Finally, with this being the 10th anniversary of the release of my CD Shades of Dave, I have decided to share all of the songs from the CD on my YouTube Channel.  I will be releasing them individually over the next few weeks.  Be sure to click on the red Subscribe button to subscribe to my YouTube Channel to find out when the newest videos become available!

My next public gig is at Rosy Tomorrows on Sunday, October 12th.  As usual the details are on the Performances page.

I hope you're having fun!

Musically yours,
