Danbury Days at the Danbury Library Re-Cap

My performance at the Danbury Library went well and received good reviews from those in attendance.

However, it was certainly a bittersweet event.  In one way, it was a celebration of my music and new CD,  In another, it was a day of mourning of the tragic events that took place in nearby Newtown, CT the day before.

I started out the performance with my song, We're Gonna get Past The Bad Stuff from my Shades of Dave CD because as I explained, it felt like 9/11 all over again. Such an atrocity commited by such an evil person is very difficult to wrap your head around. Nevertheless, things will eventually get better and we will get past the bad stuff. Danbury videographer Jon Neumuller captured the performance on video and you can see it on YouTube.

Following the opening song, I launched into music from my new Danbury Days CD as well as other old and new original songs and a couple of Christmas songs too! Finally near the end I re-visited the need for peace following the recent tragic events and by request from an audience member, I played Imagine by John Lennon.

You can view photos from the performance on the Photos page.

I would like to thank the staff of the Danbury Library for their help with hosting the event.

I would also like to thank everyone who came out to attend the performance and those of you who support local music by purchasing CD's and DVD's.

Thank you!
